Press Release for Casting Open Call
Hollywood TV Production Team Casting Announcement The Woodlands, August 2, 2008 – RTF Productions, Inc. Christine LeMaire and Ron Stern announced that auditions for a television series pilot to be filmed in The Woodlands area will take place on Sunday, August 10th at 2:00 p.m. Location for the auditions will be at Woodlands Dance Academy, 27220 Glen Loch, The Woodlands, TX 77381. Actors are required to bring head shot, resume and to be prepared to perform a short monologue. For actors wanting to audition as ballet students, those dance auditions will begin at 4:30 p.m. LeMaire announced a top-notch professional team is contracted to film the pilot episode the week of August 20th and the series slated for filming in early 2009. Hollywood veteran writer, Doreen Spicer heads the writing team for the Sitcom series whose productions include Disney’s movie, “Jump In” as well as “The Proud Family” Disney series. Hollywood Director will be Eric Seaton who brings years of credits with such shows as “That’s So Raven”, Suite Life of Zack & Cody”, and “Cory In The House”. The on-set L.A. acting coach will be Richard Lyons known as the on-set acting coach to the stars (Queen Latifah in “SET IT OFF” and worked on the majority of all of her films (who later received and Oscar nomination and won a Golden Globe & Sag Award). Lyons coached Golden Globe, SAG & Oscar Award Winner Jennifer Hudson, in her debut film performance in “Dream Girls”. He has worked with Shia LaBeouf on “Even Stevens”, Usher, and Chris Brown, just to name a few of his credits. The comedy sitcom is centered on The Woodlands national pop/hip hop recording group known as “Savvy” (www.savvymusic.biz). Principal roles are needed for African American male and female to play parents of young Sarah; Performing Arts High School Teacher and Principal; and a Classical Ballet Instructor. Over 30 students will be used as extras in this first episode. Stern says they are looking for students, ages 13-18 male & female, all types of funny kids, all funny character types, classical ballet, tap, hip hop, singers, actors, musicians. Students must look young. Production Assistants are also needed and can apply on August 10th as well. Stern says plans are to keep the entire 2009 series production within the greater Houston area. We know that there is a wealth of talent here and we are hoping to tap into it. RTF Productions, Inc. formed the national recording group SAVVY in 2004. Savvy has toured the country for Radio Disney, recorded a CD and two DVDs touch the hearts of kids and teens. Savvy is a concept group in that the older artists spin out of the group for solo careers and other endeavors as younger members are brought in. The next generation of Savvy will consist of six members: Sarah LeMaire, Mariah McBride, Shaylen Carroll, Andrew Stern, Alan Shaw, and Drew Reinartz. It’s their dream to be the next television stars and RTF continues to work on making that happen, right here in Texas. ###

Andrew & Sarah Film Episode For So You Want To Be?
Andrew and Sarah spent the day filming a segment for "So You Want To Be?". They intereviewed "CSI" crime scene investigators. They learned about DNA testing, narcotics testing, and how bullet casings are matched up to help catch the bad guys. Both said it was such an awesome day! Sarah loved wearing the lab coat and safety goggles. She's so into fashion. lol Andrew said he thought that the entire experience was so interesting and thinks that all of you will really enjoy watching it when it airs.

Italie Chavez becomes Savvy Member
Italie Chavez, a 14 year old performer from San Antonio has been selected to join Savvy. She won the hearts of producers with her amazing vocal and dancing talents. Singing and dancing since the age of 2, she and Drew actually shared stages together years ago, and will do so again with Savvy. She is really sweet and the Savvy kids are excited to make her the "eighth" Savvy Member in the group. As everyone knows, Savvy is a "concept" group where members will periodically change. FRESH OFF A TOUR WITH RADIO DISNEY, SAVVY GIVES CONCERT at 2006 RELAY FOR LIFE in MID-SOUTH JEFFERSON COUNTY Local-area Port-Neches Groves High School Alum Gives Back to Community The Woodlands, Texas (April 19, 2006) – Savvy, a tween pop/hip-hop recording group dedicated to bringing high-energy music and cutting edge dance moves to fans everywhere, will perform a concert on April 28, 2006 from 8 p.m. to 9 p.m. for the 2006 Mid-South Jefferson County Relay for Life, benefiting the American Cancer Society. This Texas-based, family-friendly group who has recently come off a nationwide tour with Radio Disney, is committed to providing their audiences with clean lyrics and great music without compromising integrity. Savvy Performs Farewell Concert at Portofino Center
Savvy Gets Ready to Hit the Road with Radio Disney on a National Mall Tour, but first they say goodbye for now to their fans, friends and family with a farewell concert. THE WOODLANDS, TEXAS – Savvy, a high energy pop/hip-hop recording group made up of four boys and four girls aged 8 to 16, will perform a farewell concert for their local fans on Saturday, June 18 at 4 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. at the Portofino Center in Shenandoah, Texas, before kicking off their “Feeling Groovy” summer concert tour. Savvy has been performing locally, as well as throughout Texas, at schools, churches, festivals and charity events during the past year while building their fan base and fine-tuning their stage show. The group gained valuable touring experience from this process and is now ready to take their music and message out to audiences across the country. “Our fans, family and friends in the Woodlands area have been especially supportive of us this last year,” says Savvy member Lauryn Story. “We wanted to say ‘thanks’ to them before we say goodbye and head off on our nationwide tour this summer.” Indeed the Savvy Crew is excited about earning their place on the highly-coveted “Feeling Groovy” national mall tour in collaboration with Radio Disney. In preparation for the concert tour, the Savvy kids have just returned from Los Angeles where they filmed a new DVD that will accompany them on tour, along with their recently released CD, Road To Fame. The premise behind the Feeling Groovy tour and DVD is to encourage kids to get up and move through positive and upbeat music, which in turn help will help kids have healthy bodies and minds. The campaign with Radio Disney will tour Simon Malls across the U.S. and will feature Savvy live and in the new DVD, which is part instructional dance, part music videos/concert footage and behind-the-scenes introductory footage of Savvy. The DVD will be ready for release July 1. “We feel that parents will love this concept because it will be a fun tool to help encourage kids to get involved in a health and wellness campaign,” states Christine LeMaire, Savvy’s manager and CEO. “And we know kids will love the concept because they will become actively involved in the instructional dance numbers and music videos, which makes for hours of wholesome, constructive fun.” – more – Just prior to the mall tour, Savvy will head back to California to perform at Raging Waters in San Jose and for the Disney sponsored Magic and Music 4th of July Extravaganza at Shoreline Ampitheater in San Jose, near San Francisco. In May 2004, eight Texas kids were selected as members of the new “tween” pop recording group Savvy. Since that time the four boys and four girls, who auditioned along side 400 other kids during a nationwide talent search, have become a solid performing and recording group with universal appeal. Savvy’s mission is to record pop music with clean lyrics and fun messages, as well as entertain audiences with the latest hip-hop dance moves–all without compromising their integrity. So listen up out there, Savvy is providing some flavorful and powerful music with dance beats worthy of listening to. And furthermore, they are serving as role models who are appropriate for kids to follow. The idea for Savvy came from a mother’s desire to find music (and a role model) that was appropriate for her daughter’s young age and that her daughter would actually find “cool” enough to listen to. As fate would have it, Christine LeMaire met Shaun “Danté” Royer through her daughter’s vocal and dance training. It turns out Danté just happens to be a renowned choreographer, director and teacher who has always had a dream of improving the lives of kids through music and the arts. As the former Assistant Artistic Director for the Mouseketeers, he worked with Christina Aguilera, Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake in their early days at Disney. He also worked with many notable stars and performers around the world, as well as appeared in and choreographed many Broadway productions, TV commercials, concerts and sporting events, such as the 2004 Super Bowl in Houston. In addition, Danté taught dance classes at Harvard University, as well as at several prestigious performing arts schools and prestigious studios like Broadway Dance Center in New York and The Edge in Los Angeles. Forming a partnership in April 2004, Danté and Chris were able to select the members of Savvy by mid May. Three of the boys came from San Antonio, Drew Reinartz (15); Alan Shaw (12); and Berto Ornelas (15); while the remaining five kids came from the Houston metropolitan area – Mariah Parks from Tomball, Nikki Peri from Houston, Lauryn Story from Spring and Sarah LeMaire and Andrew Stern from The Woodlands. Recording four demo songs and rehearsing just two short months, Savvy gave their first live performance on July 4 and literally stopped people in their tracks. This was an early sign of things to come. The kids’ talent impressed Justin Gray of Big Boom Entertainment in Toronto, Canada, enough to sign on to write and produce their first full-length CD, Road To Fame. Notable in his own right, Justin has become one of the most visible and influential record producers and songwriters in Canada during the past five years. His songs are a constant resident at the top of the CHR, Adult Contemporary, Pop and Rock charts, and he has had no less than 10 top-10 singles in the past 18 months. And just prior to signing on with Savvy, he had just finished working with Joss Stone on her recently multiple Grammy-nominated CD. Penning original songs for the kids to record, Justin assembled a multiple Grammy award-winning songwriting team for the project. Together, the team has accumulated 15 Gold records, 10 Platinum records, 15 Top-10 singles, 7 Number One songs, 4 Grammy and 10 Juno awards, in addition to having been nominated for numerous more awards around the globe. The CD was then mixed and mastered in LA and New York by some of the biggest names in the business, including Mike Tucker (Backstreet Boys, NSYNC and Britney Spears). Savvy’s huge range of talent is reflected on this debut CD and in each originally choreographed dance number they perform. The Top-40 style tunes Put Yer Hands Up and Jump On It, both groove with a high-energy sound and make you want to get up and move your feet, while the upbeat and inspirational ballads Fly and Power of One are performed with style and class. And tired of searching for role models who can make a positive impact on children? Well dread no longer because a single mom of an adopted 8-year-old has decided to do something about it.
