Doreen Spicer
Doreen Spicer most recently wrote the Disney Channel's #1 most watched original movie, "JUMP IN!" This highly acclaimed movie was nominated for the Humanitas Prize, and now there are talks of "JUMP IN!" being nominated for a 2008 Emmy Award under the children's programming category. Prior to "JUMP IN!", Doreen co-created and wrote Disney's "Proud Family" a popular animated television program which has aired on the Disney Channel for several years.
Recently, Doreen traveled to Texas to spend time with SAVVY in hopes of finding her next project. Overwhelmed by their talent and spirit, Doreen was inspired to write and direct their latest music video "Let's Go". "These kids are not only tremendously talented, but they have great spirits, full of light, look beautiful on film, and possess great personalities." Inspired, Doreen began creating a sitcom series she is developing called "Just Schooling with SAVVY". The sitcom revolves around SAVVY as boarding school students who work at a juice bar and will feature their music and dance in each episode.
