DREW REINARTZ

Birthday: July 4

Hey, what's up everybody? My name's Drew, and I was born in San Antonio, TX.

Let's start off with the basic "Likes."

When I have down time from Savvy, I love getting the guys together for a night of video games and pizza. For exercise, I love to bike and of course, I love to dance, and if I want to give my muscles and gaming skills a rest, I spend my time cooking or listening to music I really love. The Top 5 bands that are always playing on my iPod are: Modest Mouse, Incubus, Say Anything, Death Cab for Cutie, and Jack Johnson. If you like any of those bands, consider yourself my friend.

When it comes to sports, I'm the typical guy. I love watching and playing football, challenging my friends in soccer, and playing basketball with my brother.

I don't get to watch that much T.V. but when I do, I really like watching Family Guy, Burn Notice, MythBusters, and Dirty Jobs.

I've done and seen a lot of things all of which started very early in my life. I have been dancing since I was 5 years old, and I have worked with many well-known dance teachers, including Danté, Leonard, Ronda, Tino, Roxanne and Barbara, who all trained me for many years. My formal training includes jazz, tap, ballet, hip-hop, Irish River dance, and flamenco dance.

I am also formally trained in acting. I have done TV, radio and stage and have even had a small part as an extra in the movie Varsity Blues. I was in a show called Radio City Christmas Spectacular starring the Rockettes that took place in Branson, Missouri, and Ohio. I've competed in over 50 competitions and have been known to have done very well in both the solo and group performance categories.

If I don't find myself dancing in the future, I think I'd like to become a pro-soccer player or get into engineering or mechanics. I first joined Savvy when I was 14 after undergoing numerous hours of auditions for singing, dancing, and acting. Wow, was that rough but well worth it! Through out the years, Savvy got the opportunity to go on tour with some of Disney’s biggest artists. We went all over the U.S. with Radio Disney, stomped every stage we came across, and for the first time, I felt the need to be and STAY on stage. Savvy really taught me how to be myself and to be proud of the talents I have. I'm still living the dream and becoming the star I hope to be.

I'd like to thank the cast and crew of Savvy for making everything possible. To my bothers and sisters in Savvy, thanks for showing me nothing but pure love and real friendship. We may have had our hard times, but we always manage to fix our problems and live like it never even happened. To Ms. Chris, thank you for the opportunity you gave me to find the real me, not to mention the prayers, the encouragement, and the constant "mother-like care" you gave each and every one of us. And last but not least to the Savvy Parents. THANK YOU for all the effort, time, countless miles you've driven to get us where we need to be, and the confidence you have in us to make it big, there's no way we could have done this without you.

Dream big!
Drew
